Auth0
Auth0 is a fit when the company already has a tenancy, or when SSO is the brief. We put it behind the same interface we would build with any other provider.
What it is
Auth0, now part of Okta, is an identity platform for applications that need more than a password form: social login, enterprise SSO, MFA, passwordless, and a rules engine. Autodesk, Mozilla, and Siemens use it when identity is a product requirement, not a weekend feature.
It is older and broader than Clerk. That is a strength in enterprise (SAML, OIDC, a thousand connections) and a weight if all you needed was Google login on a Next.js lander. Universal Login is the hosted door. Your app still has to handle the session after the door.
What it does
Teams use Auth0 to centralise login across several apps, to connect Entra or Okta workforce identity, and to add MFA without inventing it. APIs get JWTs. The dashboard is where connections live.
We design the journey: invite, first run, lockout, recovery. The tenant is yours. We do not add a fourth password when the work login already exists.
Why we use it
Enterprise identity when the directory is already elsewhere.
SSO for a client portal or an internal tool. Handover of the tenant, not a studio application. Claims mapped to screens. Nobody saw an admin they should not.
A fourth password is a product failure when the work login already exists.
