Company

Microsoft

Microsoft is email, identity, and the office next door. We build web products that sit beside that world instead of asking a team to leave it.

What it is

Microsoft is the company behind Windows, Office, Azure, GitHub, LinkedIn, Xbox, and Teams. For a lot of organisations it is already the place work happens: the login, the documents, the mail, the machines. A product that ignores that room will be asked to SSO on week two.

The public brand is productivity software. The working brand is identity (Entra ID), cloud (Azure), developer tools (GitHub, VS Code, TypeScript, .NET), and a distribution channel into every company that already paid for Microsoft 365.

What it does

Companies use Microsoft as the work account, the document system, the meeting grid, and often the cloud. Internal tools sign in with the Microsoft login people already have. Public sites still might, if the audience is staff or partners rather than consumers.

We take the identity, the Office files, or the Azure tenancy that already exists, and we put a web interface on the job. We do not rebuild SharePoint as a personality project.

Why we use it

The stack a lot of companies already pay for.

SSO, Graph where it is useful, Azure only when it is already the house. A hybrid is allowed: React or Next.js on the surface, .NET underneath, if that is the team you can hire. We will not force a Microsoft shop onto a stack it cannot staff, and we will not wrap a SharePoint site and call it a product.

You should not need a fourth password to reach your own portal.
