Nuxt
Nuxt is for teams who want a Vue app with routes, metadata, and a CMS. We treat it as a product, not a starter theme.
What it is
Nuxt is the production framework for Vue: file-based routing, server rendering, static generation, and a module ecosystem. It is to Vue what Next.js is to React. If you want a Vue site that paints HTML first and still behaves like an app, Nuxt is the usual answer.
It can host content sites, authenticated products, and hybrid storefronts. Nitro, the server engine, is how it runs on Node, serverless, or edge. The Vue team treats it as the recommended path for new full apps.
What it does
Teams use Nuxt when they are already in Vue and need SEO, previews, and a serious deployment story. Agencies that keep Laravel or headless WordPress in the back often put Nuxt in front.
We use it when Vue is the right UI and the site has to ship as a real application, not a pile of widgets. The repo and the host stay yours.
Why we use it
Vue's production framework, used the same way we use Next.
Content model first, then pages, then integrations. Hosting on the platform you already pay for. A handover with a content model so a tenth page does not need us.
If they wanted Next.js, we would say so. If they wanted Nuxt, we will ship Nuxt properly.
